Annie Porter is thrilled when her boyfriend Alex Shaw presents her with two tickets for a cruise to the Bahamas on a Norwegian luxury liner. The trip is a peace offering presented because Annie has just learned that Alex is a police officer who's been lying to her about his choice of profession. Alex lied because Annie didn't want to date any more cops after what happened with the bus in Los Angeles. The cruise ship's passengers include members of a diamond dealers' association, who have filled the ship's vault with valuable diamonds. Little do they know that passenger John Geiger, the designer of the ship's computer system, has planned to take over the ship, steal the diamonds, and set the ship on a collision course with an oil tanker anchored at the island of St. Martin. Geiger was fired and cast aside by the computer company he worked for, and he wants revenge. Now it's up to Alex to stop him.

After seeing the best action film ever (Speed) I went to this
expecting more of the same impressive.

and lame 'action scenes. " The baddie was not strong enough, their reasons for the kidnapping

This whole film is over-the-top-bad, waaaaay trying too hard to equal
speed. But putting all the action on a cruise ship - a small cruise ship
to? There were twice as action in the elevator at the scene
from a speed!
I found the giant oil tanker explosion, the ship across crash in the dock

sea (probably because the vessel had already landed!) The order has been easier

sequel to 1995's surprise hit a bus driver has hardly caused a ripple at the box office
. The threadbare script is mainly to blame. It consists almost entirely of

Crash! "" We're going too fast! "Do something!" This is not happening! "

there is, indeed, there was not much time for characterization or
interpersonal drama. Speed is off to a 2-Winky Dinky begin with Sandra Bullock taking
another disastrous driving test. Bullock's natural charm can only go by what

script. As people drop dead around her, she must continue to learn about the

co-star Jason Patric, who plays her boyfriend police. The unpleasant,
