In the year 3000, man is no match for the Psychlo's, a greedy, manipulative race of aliens on a quest for ultimate profit. Led by the seductive and powerful Terl (Travolta), the Psychlo's are stripping Earth clean of its natural resources, using the broken remnants of humanity as slaves. What is left of the human race has descended into a near primitive state, believing the invaders to be demons and technology to be evil. After humanity has all but given up any hope of freeing themselves from alien oppression, a young man named Tyler (Pepper) decides to leave his desolate home high in the Rocky Mountains to discover the truth, whereupon he is captured and enslaved. It is then that he decides to fight back, leading his fellow man in one final struggle for freedom.

How bad is this movie. I thought that criticism exaggerates when
said how bad it is but were `t battlefield land is one of the worst
films released by a major Hollywood studio. It `s badly managed, poorly cast
(Barry Pepper as Jonnie makes for one of the least impressive screen hero` s
ever seen. Travolta Maybe I should have stuck to their guns and played Jonnie.
Might have been a little too old for the part, but at least he has some charisma
unlike Pepper) and has one of the worst script ever written
. An alien race called Psychlos, like the sounds psychoses,
bet that `re really evil and cruel. Oh who are evil and cruel as
psychoses. Why do you think rats are the favourite food for humans when it `s
the only thing you've seen 'humans eat? And why they think "Rat brains
" is an insult to human beings? especially when they consider the "human animal"
to be a primitive kind. And I'm alone in seeking the expression "Man animals
" irritating? There is no doubt that should be "Manimals"? A measure intelligent and sharp
expression. But is not strong and intelligent way to describe this script. Cities
are almost intact after a thousand years since the collapse of human civilization
! Not only that, but so do the large quantities of firearms, ammunition and
Harrier Jump jets and a flight simulator for the jump jets
where human beings learn to fly in a week, and there is no doubt that `ll know what gasoline is
and learn how to put it into the jets to fly. Does this sound
very likely that you? Let me put it this way: Go into a time machine and go back
to biblical times, trapping a dozen people, bring back to
this and become fighter pilots in week. Do
think that `d be any good flying planes and shooting down enemy forces? I
none. Is Cree that could topple a superior civilization? I
neither? Do you Cree that everyone involved with this movie deserves to work again
? Neither me
the friend who lent me the DVD warned me, but beat all my expectations
lowliness. this movie is unspeakably bad.
and do not go see it, take my word for this: *
has no plot. *
the 'players' suck huge rocks. really huge.
* Travolta even try. *
the most elaborate of dialogue revolves around the phrase 'grumble
mumble. "
* special effects are the worst ever, because
pretend to be serious. *

i could go on and on and on, but I'm starting to feel bad for only having to think
in this.
