In the late 40's, the swindler Raymond Martinez Fernandez seduces lonely women to steal their possessions. When he meets the deranged Martha Beck, they fall in love for each other. With the jealous Martha posing as if she were his sister, the crook Ray seduces and kills other women. Two New York Detectives - Elmer C. Robinson and Charles Hildebrandt - chase the sociopaths, but without having the evidence of a body. In the end of 40's, the couple is finally arrested and sentenced to death, being electrocuted in March, 1951 in Sing Sing.

I am losing faith in this forum and some of the people who vote here ...
How can you possibly rate this movie as a 1 or 2 or 3? Each to their own
guess and by any reasoning or motives ... For my part,
I found this film to be excellent. It held my interest from start to finish -
and the goal is satisfactory. Travolta and Gandolfini
were excellent and as you should expect. Salma Hayek gave what I think should be
win a prize. Jared Leto was also excellent ...
I can not say I've noticed it before anything of this note. It is also good
Laura Dern see once again - that I was hot to watch since
Rambling Rose:) All I can say is watch this movie and decide for yourself.
I definitely recommend it.
This is a great movie. Salma Hayek is believably psycho,
makes me wonder. Jared Leto did a great job as the small-time playboy turned
murderer. Travolta, Gandolfini and Caan flow through the film with a real
malaise. As if detectives were hoping to find that one
slightest proof that breaks the case. With this list of stars who
might think that would be a fight for attention, but unfortunately a director
keeps everything under control. Writer / director Todd Robinson is the grandson of
C Elmer Robinson (John Travolta), the lead detective in this case. The

Watch this movie and try to prove me wrong.
