Download Movie CasablancaDuring World War II, Europeans who were fleeing from the Germans, sought refuge in America. But to get there they would first have to go Casablanca and once they get there, they have to obtain exit visas which are not very easy to come by. Now the hottest spot in all of Casablanca is Rick's Cafe which is operated by Rick Blaine, an American expatriate, who for some reason can't return there, and he is also extremely cynical. Now it seems that two German couriers were killed and the documents they were carrying were taken. Now one of Rick's regulars, Ugarte entrusts to him some letters of transit, which he intends to sell but before he does he is arrested for killing the couriers. Captain Renault, the Chief of Police, who is neutral in his political views, informs Rick that Victor Laszlo, the European Resistance leader, is in Casablanca and will do anything to get an exit visa but Renault has been "told" by Major Strasser of the SS, to keep Laszlo in Casablanca. Laszlo goes to Rick's to meet Ugarte, because he was the one Ugarte was going to sell the letters to. But since Ugarte was arrested he has to find another way. Accompanying him is Ilsa Lund, who knew Rick when he was in Paris, and when they meet some of Rick's old wounds reopen. It is obvious that Rick's stone heart was because of her leaving him. And when they learn that Rick has the letters, he refuses to give them to him, because "he doesn't stick his neck out for anyone".

While there is nothing new to say about "Casablanca" is good
see one of the classics continue to receive some attention. For more rules
at least is very good, and there are good reasons why many still remember it so fondly
. Not all watches today shared the view that
is a classic, but it's still good to see fans of modern films, representing a
prove themselves.

Gypsum is one of its main strengths, not only to Bogart and Bergman, but also
the fine supporting cast. The rains, Greenstreet, Lorre, and the others are
indispensable to the atmosphere and history, and each has some very good moments
. It has its imperfections, but is not expected to be a classic
or overproduction - everything that you read about
suggests that the production was made in a slap dash instead of fashion, under the constraints
that have destroyed most other films. It is not difficult to see how little
that this happened in the finished product, as long as the plot strains
a little credibility, or the characters seem to behave a little strangely. (
In particular, it could have been even more satisfactory if the nature of
Bergman has been a bit stronger - Ilsa is charming, but that is entirely thanks to
Bergman does so with it, the character itself as written appears somewhat shallow
.)

But anyway proved to be an excellent combination of actors,
characters, and history, a combination that more than compensates for all
else. Different viewers probably remember and enjoy "Casablanca"
different reasons, because it apparently has a little bit of everything. While
perhaps not perfect, it is well worth remembering and watch.
Saboteurs ahead, but then again, that is not familiar with Casablanca,
even if one has not seen?

've been watching 'Casablanca' over and over again since he bought the
Special Edition DVD, and is there any movie out there you can see
again and again without ever was tired of it? And not just any movie
appeal to a wider audience? Just everything about it seems to be as
near perfection, as only it can be.

But what exactly is so special about him? Is your great mix of genres,
never matched by another film? When we think of "Casablanca" first,
I remember as a romantic film (well, most of us do). But then again, their participation
also a drama of terror, murder and flight. One can call it a
character study, focusing on Rick. And there are quite a few moments
delight of comedy, just thinking about the pickpocket ( "
This place is full of vultures, vultures everywhere!") Or the elderly increased in recent
The night before his emigration to the U.S. ( "What clock ?").< br> But
'Casablanca' is not only great as a whole, still stands at the top crack and see if
only lines of dialogue, scenes or
solo performances. Is there any other film that has more citable
dialog "Casablanca"? 'Pulp Fiction' is in my opinion here, and '
All About Eve "and" Sunset Blvd. "approach, but still I think
'Casablanca' tops everything else. Not only is the great dialog, unforgettably
is delivered, especially by Humphrey Bogart ( "
I was misinformed.") And Claude Rains ( "I'm shocked, shocked to see that < br> gambling is happening here "). Many of the scenes have become part of film history
; grief of 'Die Wacht am Rhein "and" La Marseillaise "
probably one of the greatest scenes ever shot (the only I can think of is that
match for the # 1 is Hynkel and the world of
Chaplin "The Great Dictator"), and the last scene is probably even
family to a few people I've never seen "Casablanca".
Am I the only one who is absolutely convinced that the film would not have become what it is today
if Ilsa and Rick would have finished as the fate
partner? About

actions: Much has been said about the uniqueness of
Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in chemistry as Ilsa and Rick,
about Claude Rains' fantastic to turn as Renault on the scene of theft
performances by Peter Lorre (one of 10 all-time most players)
Ugarte and Sydney Greenstreet as Ferrari and Dooley Wilson
stop the show as Sam . I would like to stress here
two other performances, which was not mentioned as often and that is
blatantly overlooked: Conrad Veidt as Major Strasser
had a really difficult task here, since its character is the only evil, but still
Strasser is not a dimensional character, and that took more than 50 years until
another actor also gave a (perhaps even more),
impressive performance as a Nazi, Ralph Fiennes in "Schindler's List '. But why not
one never mentions SK Sakall, who plays Carl, the cheerful waiter in
Rick's Cafe Américain, is beyond me. It definitely more screen time that
Lorre, Greenstreet and Wilson, and probably the most
Veidt, and is a joy every time it appears on the screen. Simply, his love
reaction when the pickpocket ( "vultures everywhere!") Accidentally blows
therein, or the reaction to "Things to See"-dialog. Or how he
Strasser said he gave the best table, "be a German, which would have taken
anyway." His performance is simply criminally overlooked.

hence, there is a weakest link in "Casablanca"? Each film, no matter how
near perfection, has a minor flaw or two, so that one can find in
'Casablanca', too, if it is really hard. So yes, one might ask how much sense
entire Mumbo Jumbo on the letters of transit ago.
It is noteworthy that Paul Henreid, although its performance is certainly good
not come close to the greatness of any of its
co-stars. However, the film is so near perfection that I'm almost embarrassed
I'm desperately trying to find less-than-perfect
elements.

Therefore, regardless of films will come, how many sequels overflow the screen,
and the amount of trash that will have to sit through, one thing is certain if
We are desperate to see a great movie: We will always have Casablanca!
