Long before humans appeared on the planet, dinosaurs ruled the earth. On a little off-coast island, a clan of lemurs finds a dinosaur egg, hatching. Since there are no parents, the lemurs take care of the newborn, Aladar. Years later, a medium meteor goes down close to the island and the shockwave forces its inhabitants to flee to the continent. There, Aladar and his family meet other dinosaurs for the first time as well as real dangers. The destruction caused by the meteor here has also forced a herd of different herbivores to move to a remote valley that can provide food and protection against the carnivorous predators following after. Since Aladar grew up with a different understanding of the ways of the world, his way of helping others first isn't accepted within the herd, but soon it is proven that reason may be better than panic.

Dinosaur has great graphics: When I think of all animated films I
already seen, it can be easily in the top5. Of course, I can not compare
Dinosaurs for this movie to those of Jurassic Park,
because they are very different from each other, but I can say that both
a very real. But this movie, in my opinion, has more points
animation because then the story itself. It's nice, but with a history
very common, in addition, there are some major mistakes here,
especially in the beginning of the share of meteors, when everything is destroyed
in Plio the island: they have an impact not only kill the
lemurs, but also many of the dinos. And incidentally: primates and lemurs
generally not co-exist with the Dinosaurs! Even children know that, come
ignition. I will try to be less critical about this kind of mistakes, but taking
outside them, the story is beautiful.
This film was cutting pleasure to see. The film looks absolutely stunning and visually
animation is done well. It is true
- eye candy and entertaining as well.

The film has a typical history and sense of adventure and is sometimes
well as spectacular. Especially impressive is the beginning
spectacular. There are some very well-done action sequences that are at times strained
too. My only real complaint of the film are
characters. There is no real character development of the film
and we never really get to know the character or care much about them,
this is probably mainly due to the short duration of the film.
also of course the story itself is somewhat predictable but that does not eliminate any
of fun and entertainment of the film.

Dinosaur fans will enjoy this film as well, unless you're one of those
people who complain about the accuracy of the film. This film is
entertainment, not a documentary.

The musical score by James Newton Howard film fits like a glove
and in my opinion gives one of his best results in motion and in his career
.

There is much hatred for this movie but frankly I do not see why. If
simply take the film for what it is, you'll have a good time watching
. It's beautiful, adventurous and sometimes
truly spectacular.
