Self-proclaimed stuntman Rod Kimble (Samberg) is preparing for the jump of his life. Rod plans to clear fifteen buses in an attempt to raise money for his abusive stepfather Frank's life-saving heart operation. He'll land the jump, get Frank better, and then fight him, hard.

Our family consists of a fiftyish dad, a fortyish mother and two teenage daughters
. We all saw this film during a preview pass just before
open, and I (the mother) laughed so hard he could barely breathe
sometimes. I had to stop laughing so I could hear what I was missing.
One of my daughters said it was a cross between Napoleon Dynamite and
Talladega Nights ... maybe. It is completely unlikely, I mean, that
going to be doing acrobatics on a moped? But it was so sweet. The
characters never reached more than they were or tried too hard. Never
felt compelled, as so many films like this. The best part was when
Rod went to his "quiet place". I saw a summary that says
have been better with Will Ferrell ... I enjoyed all
Ferrell has done lately, but Andy Samberg is perfect for this movie.
The end was fairly predictable, but it's like taking a trip ...
knew where you would like to finish, but it's so much fun along the way. We
definitely loved this movie and recommend it to all our friends (and
!)
