Earl and Hank have only one thing in common: they're both L.A.P.D. rejects. One just got kicked out, the other can't even get in. After confronting each other on opposite sides of the law during a traffic stop that escalates out of control, these two luckless individuals end up partnered as lowly security guards. Despite being damned to the lowest rung of the law enforcement ladder, Earl and Hank uncover a sophisticated smuggling operation led by Nash and his band of thugs. When Earl and Hank get their hands on some hot property, they go on the run from, first the bad guys, then the L.A.P.D.—led by Lt. Washington and Detective McDuff. What these two unlikely partners do to law enforcement is a crime, but they just might save the day. That is, if they don't kill each other first.

Imagine a movie that launches every racist joke black
cliché you can think of a film of 88 minutes. Then imagine that
is recycled every few minutes. From Homeland Security is a comedy that is not only unfunny, but also
is not original, full of cliches, and totally useless.
The film revolves around Earl Montgomery (Martin Lawrence), a security official
, and Hank Rafferty (Steve Zahn), an ex-police officer who becomes official
security after what appears to be a false beating Rodney King. Now,
here is where the film starts to go wrong. It takes the typical
white / black man stereotype and turns it into a police film that dares to go where nobody has
ido before making consistent black jokes of a black man.
Do not misunderstand me, I'm not using black in a derogatory way, but merely
noted that these "African-American" or the so-called black
jokes are unfunny and dull.
Later, the two somehow stumble to a plot to take a precious metal alloy
that will make a crooked police and some other rich thiefs. Coincidentally,
this group is also responsible for the death of Hank partners. Because of this,
Hank is going to avenge his partner.
What makes this movie is even worse is apparently full of holes.
For example, the court scene to dramatize that seems important, but then
puts almost all African-Americans in the jury as if it were some funny. Even
Hank is not a fair trial. Moments of this film focuses on police brutality
and equality, something that this movie does not care to resolve at all.
I laughed a lot in this movie ... expect that it was not another film. In this film
I laughed once. It seems that 95% of the jokes were related to race and
after the first 10 minutes of the film, there was fresh material never
. In fact, all the jokes were told Lorenzo, who seems to have
sold itself to this movie. Its $ 20 million contract
