When the first American Juridical BLOND has been released, I was surprised because it
is fresh, spontaneous, fun and very original. Therefore, I am pleased
enough to see the sequel. Unfortunately, every second of this movie is appalling
. All good things of the first of them are forgotten. It's stupid,
ugly, stupid and completely useless. one of the worst films I have ever seen
.
This sequel to a film will always fail to meet the standards of its predecessor
is almost axiomatic. For every brilliant sequel
as' Aliens' or 'The Godfather: Part II ", there are dozens of painfully lame
successors. This is not a surprise, however, is our own infallible
tendency to herd, lemming-like, in the aftermath
that ensures their continued existence. Secuelas earn money, and that's a bad thing. Take
"Legally Blonde 2". Please.
By way of defense, let me point out that not everything is so easy to find a film that entertains
two adults, 15-year-old boy and a 12-year-
age. Our hopes were not high when LB2
rented a couple of weekends ago, however, we all agree that he had enjoyed the original
movie, or at least did not actively hated. That little perky Reese Witherspoon
- how could it not something like it, huh?
After seeing LB2, I unreservedly credit with one thing:
provided a rallying point for my family-often dispersed. We
strong, united in our complete and total abhorrence for this heinous
film. Beyond that questionable achievement, however, I am not sure
there is something positive that can be said for this movie.
Like almost every other reviewer on the planet has noted, the original
"Blonde" had some amusing moments, most of which were supplied by Mrs
Witherspoon, who managed to inject the character Elle Woods, with a mix of ditziness
credible and sweet charm. So as to strengthen the
the original film was co-star Jennifer Coolidge, who played his dim-bulb
shtick to perfection as aesthetics Elle friend Paulette.
Of course this is one of the parcels line numbers as predictable as rain in Oregon, but
Witherspoon, et al played lightly and laughter and it worked.
The sequel, however, is a terrible mixture of preachiness,
offensive stereotypes, and obviously absurd plot devices. "Legally Blonde" made
points, a helium-weight, rich girl and her bubbleheaded
takes a sympathetic character. In LB2, Elle is a nuisance whose dipshit
breathless ingenuity and hyperactive adventures are simply painful
bear.
There is real point in listing all the flaws of this film.
To do so would give more thought that obviously went into its creation
. But I can not simply shift from one aspect of the film that I found
both irritating and worrisome. Viewers of the first film
no doubt recall the Elle Chihuahua, Bruiser. For reasons that are
continuously validated, I tend to hate cutesy animal sidekicks
film, and Bruiser was emphatically not the exception. In LB2, however,
Bruiser sexuality becomes a theme repeated
and convenient plot device. More specifically, we (and Elle) Bruiser discover that it is… (
wait for it)… gay.
occurs hilarity, ad nauseum.
is an overwhelming testimony that 1) the writers of this movie are so desperate for fodder
script that came with this dazzling
lame idea first;

some plot twists that depend on this fact. It's a stupid, stupid idea in a
stupid, stupid movie.
Should I lose most of my time or yours decrying the total waste
Jennifer Coolidge in this movie? What about Sally Field's humiliating
role Congresswoman Rudd Victoria? Bob Newhart the unbearable
turn as the know-it-all hotel doorman cum political mentor. Finally,
on a larger scale, we need to discuss the massive suspension of disbelief
than necessary to believe even a moment of slightly miserable
this film?
Nah.
