Download Cinderella II: Dreams Come True
(animation, family, fantasy, romance)
The movie explores Cinderella's "happily ever after" life as a princess in 3 stories, with help from the Fairy Godmother. First, Cinderella's awkward first days at the palace, when she tried so hard to fit in that she forgot to be herself. Second, how Jaq felt so left out that he wished to be a human. Third, how Cinderella taught one of her nasty step-sisters how to smile which leads to her own true love.

Of course, the animation is really bad, and is not a deep movie, but at least
writers who think a bit in history and not just go with
the norm. (Cinderella and her still-unnamed Prince
has a daughter who falls in love with a farmer, and they have to convince the king that she
should be able to marry him and not be forced to marry someone from royalty.
Can anyone say 'Aladdin'? Ugh.)
This film is made of three stories instead of just one long yawn
factory as well as some other I can think of (Cough. Hunchback 2.
Return to Neverland. Cough.) So there's a lot more opportunity to change and
interaction of characters. Even an appeal involving dour promise to act with prudence
(very nice to see a black-clad miser in a Disney movie that is stodgy and stuffy
depth rather than evil.) And give a one of the stepsisters
history of its own, and do something with Lucifer, except that he has to be (you guessed
) black, evil cat that recently, but hunting mice. Even Jaques
gives you a place in the spotlight, and there is a happy ending all around
whole world falls in love. No. is not a deep movie, but it is not boring, either.
There is enough happening here to hold your interest, and that is saying a lot
a sequel to Disney these days. The only real flaw is that
selected quite possibly the most "nervous" and frankly uncomfortable Hip Hoppish
warbler singer to have some songs that sounded quite the opposite ..
Some of the melodies and lyrics are really very good, but there is much "groove" and
"attitude" to jump to any charm that is completely lost - And if that's how they sound now
* *, One can imagine how far this music goes to
grate on the ears in a decade or so, when the Hip Hop has gone a long time since the form of vinyl and
nightclub and VHS .. . Seriously, people can no longer just SING?
I will be really happy when people realize that Disney lavishing
in its modern sound (Ahem) "masterpieces" .. only accelerates its decline in the post-modern
downturn suffered by such films as "Oliver & Company 'and' Aladdin '.
I am sure I am not the first to cringe to hear Cinderella 'EEYew'
with all pouty, adolescents turning of the 2001 cohort of sex-up, belly
Baring-Britney aspirants.
When I first saw the huge life-size cardboard standup promoting
Cinderella II in my local Hollywood Video, I was positively surprised and dismayed
how far Disney has fallen on his attempt to strip-
mine the memory of their classics in order to make an extra
Buck. When viewing the video itself did nothing to illuminate
my preconceived notions. While the animation and the voice of action is
first class, the story suffers as the film tries to describe
Cinderella "happily ever after" life in the castle. Given that any real conflict could hurt
that "happy" image, designate
Cinderella head of the Ministry of the Parties
and let you show your boundless optimism largely through several
contrived situations involving the most awkward jokes about
women loving fat (fat acceptance lawyers, careful!) and
mice that were mindlessly chased by cats palace (which in real life would probably have
agents mice hunt for them!)
mice are the real stars of this film, which recreates her film roles
quite well and tying loose, disjointed narratives. Still,
one gets the impression that mice are the only characters in this film
and others are just there to give the mice something to do.
For a film that seeks to teach us how to be ourselves and feel good
with ourselves, would be shocked at the lack of gross
characterization in the film. Even compared with other Disney
films, the characters never go beyond the stereotypes and develop its surface
any ulterior motives. Why so singlemindedly Jaq
want to continue Cinderella? Why
Fairy Godmother persist around the castle as a freeloading room?
Why Anastasia fall in love with the incredibly uninteresting
Baker? However, one should not picket the movie too seriously, after all,
is clear from the packaging and DVD extras ( "A composer is a
person who writes music for a movie" ) That this movie was
intended solely for the kiddie crowd. With this in mind, is
blissfully entertaining. It's a great movie if they are under 6 years or so, but if
were raised in most captivating Disney fare, such as
broadly Disney musical in the afternoon and early 90 ' s,
is rather disappointing.
