Baby Bink couldn't ask for more; he has adoring (if somewhat sickly-sweet) parents, he lives in a huge mansion, and he's just about to appear in the social pages of the paper. Unfortunately, not everyone in the world is as nice as Baby Bink's parents; especially the three enterprising kidnapers who pretend to be photographers from the newspaper. Successfully kidnaping Baby Bink, they have a harder time keeping hold of the rascal, who not only keeps one step ahead of them, but seems to be more than a little bit smarter than the three bumbling criminals.

Dumb laughs are easy to find. Dumb characters are even easier.
But when you get a movie that is so endearingly, goofily silly as "Baby's Out days,"
you can not help but love!
The argument is very simple Cartoon Land, with a low bow in the Three Stooges
'direction Scripter praise of John Hughes (surprise!). Three
dimmest of the hijackers in history (Mantegna, Pantoliano and Haley) fazer error abduction of a rich little baby boy, who turns out to be much more
resources that the three of them combined. And much more ruthless
.
During the day, the baby Bink (Warton and Warton) leads to the silly
bad guys across the width and breadth of Chicago and leaves them all
bruised, beaten, burned, collapsed from countless drops and other high
humiliated ( "we had the living hell torn away from us a baby," cries
Mantegna at one point). At the same time, we are laughing.
I've seen this in the theater when it first arrived and I must admit,
all packed in public was laughing hysterically at every pratfall
, gag and slapstick business that occurred. I love this kind of
film and see the great Joe Mantegna take your lumps so bravely brings a smile
in itself.
It's nice to play dumb sometimes. And even more pleasant
his testimony.
Eight stars for "Baby's Day Out." If you like this type laughs, will make its
"Day".
The Three Stooges never had this kid punishment dishes.
The first time I saw this movie, I was in a drive-in with some friends and we were all
sitting on the bonnet of my car. As Baby Bink maintained get the best of the hijackers
I laughed so hard I fell out of the car, which prompted
my friends to laugh even harder. (Hence, I too was a victim of Baby Bink).
This is a great family film, even with all the jokes groin (ie baby Joe
Mantagna kicked in the groin, Joe receives groin fire in a scene that makes me confident that
my son did not touch a lighter until the 35). Even if you can not
suspend the belief that a baby can do all the things that makes this guy, any movie with Joe Pantiliano
worth seeing. Parents let the kids watch,
only pray they do not try some of these things for you.
