You never see a movie that, under normal circumstances, you'd think it was great and wonderful, but there is something about the film that keeps you full enjoyment of it? It gets kind of stuck between being great and being good, so do not stop at the place, and you end up liking but not loving the movie. Ultimately, the film falls into the abyss of "almost", and that they soon forget completely.
Such is the curse of the Laws of Attraction, a good film that just sort of there. Halfway into the movie I asked myself why I connect more with the film since its funny and well acted, and very charming in all the right ways. Somehow, despite being able to see the quality that I stopped caring what happened.
Can I recommend this romantic comedy about lawyers in love? Yes, its light and sweet and everything a good romantic comedy to be memorable exception.

This film reminds me of the Screwball romantic comedies of the 30's, 40's and 50's. The film succeeds in the following humor, witty dialogue and great rhythm witch made the romantic comedies of old so great. That is, until the end. Everyone who finishes is ruined, copy-paste from any other romantic comedy today (split, one realizes the lack of blame and run to your lover and spill their guts out and ... live happily ever). It is not the fault of the director, who even tried to do his best at the end is not as sleazy (aka the great scene of the wedding). Pierce Brosnan is great in some scenes even better than Moore, reminds me of Cary Grant, James Stewart in his best work (of raising the babies, The Philadelphia Story ...). Brosnan is actually becoming an actor better than him before 6-7 years. Julianne Moore is, as always, excellent. Support is also large, Sheen, Posey, Fisher, Dunn to villagers in the Irish people. Overall a great Screwball comedy that has not been in years, if the final were better ...
