This is the story of an isolated Alaskan town that is plunged into darkness for a month each year when the sun sinks below the horizon. As the last rays of light fade, the town is attacked by a bloodthirsty gang of vampires bent on an uninterrupted orgy of destruction. I did not think I could go out to see a vampire movie ever
again. All have done great good use of mythology,
Francis Ford Coppola, Neil Jordan, Steven Norrington, Guillermo Del Toro and
lets not forget one of the largest F. W. Murnau.
Day 30 of the night, is a delightfully nasty horror, which has once again demonstrated
has wet my appetite to see what the mud on celluloid.
These vampires are just scared, no sexual innuendo, are simply
beasts.
Films Comic origins are quite obvious through the film,
one of its major draw card is that it looks beautiful, the cinematography is fabulous
, the punchy electro rock score
used effectively scarce during the film, silence is the film most powerful weapon in abeyance.
The Cast is great, Josh Hartnet Putting
probably the best performance of his career, but it's Ben Foster who really steals the show,
I have never seen an actor possessed by his own character as they
from Anthony Hopkins and reader. Melissa George is perfectly fine, i do not
was blown away, but Danny Huston was superbly Intimidation,
its presence in the film was apprehensive.
now to the films faults, the incredible accumulation, which incorporates the
mystery of what exactly was going on in the city was quickly ripped off completely
of carnage, this was a little distracting, but soon returned
suspense.
I recommend this movie, I really do not understand why people arn't
liked the movie. It is very ancient in its approach, most
probably why it's so brilliant. give it a go.

As the night begins to fall from a spell thirty days in a small Alaska town
advanced, one of the crew Motley WALTZING vampires come to a feast
David Slade in the adaptation of the graphic novel, "30 Days

rapid cuts in the intimate scenes of carnage, but also
are very disturbing angled shots and an expert on the scene
bird view crane shot when the vampires start dragging
People from their homes into the streets. While adapting successfully
some of the great images of the graphic novel, Slade is fully aware of
that this remains a film and shies away from CGI and overly stylized
lighting and effects that to the detriment of the sense of realism
necessary in a step-fetched horror film like this.
Slade also makes good use of its cast. Danny Huston is perfectly creepy as
vampires' leader. Josh Hartnett, who is normally and miscast
Emotionless, actually fits very well the role of a sheriff wooden
a remote village in Alaska. Ben Foster, who always overacts,
is used effectively here in a bit like a paper above the top Reinfield
