Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee DIANE LANE stars as a massage therapist who dreams of leaving New York City and joining her son's father, a renowned anthropologist, who is studying a primitive South American tribe called Yanomano or "Fierce People." She currently lives a carefree life in Manhattan, but when her son has a close brush with the law, she realizes it's time to make a life-altering change, and she pulls some strings to enter them into a life of wealth and privilege. When her son is attacked, their perfect world is shattered.

Dirk Wittenborn's history, directed by Griffin Dunne, begins to unravel when, while watching the tribal rituals of Africa, the younger generation of characters starts singing the word expletive for procreation, followed by "kill" again and again, and again! Is representative of a scene from the movie "tribal" symbols, "up / down 'cast of characters are different levels of decadent rich. Act as, and are associated with the savage tribes. His passion is fueled by tribal alcohol, marijuana and cocaine.
When one of the characters in disguise, robberies with violence to another person, something gets lost in translation. This "event" should have been more clearly understood in the original book Wittenborn. "Fierce People" seems to be derived from a novel great. On the screen, young Anton Yelchin (as Finn Earl) is endearingly Huckleberry, in the role of the protagonist. Massage mother Diane Lane (as Liz Earl) and Donald Sutherland as dad (as Ogden C. Osborne) that help sustain above average.
