Download Killing Floor, The

A literary agent moves into a penthouse apartment. Soon after the move, he receives crime scene photographs that seem to have taken place in his new apartment. Next he receives a series of stalker videotapes that document his every move.

I saw this movie with low expectations. There were no ratings in IMDb, I had never heard of any of the actors, all comments and praises as if it was the best thing ever made, which led me to believe the only people who reviewed this film were they were working on it. I was wrong. The movie has a very steady pace for the most part. Not a lot happens during the beginning, but tried to turn it into a thriller too early, and were unsuccessful. But about half the characters and the story really began to shine. Just when you think you know who to point the finger at, you realize you're wrong - again and again. Towards the end, just keep the excitement until the story finally develops. It is enough to keep almost anyone care.
The acting, writing and directing are 100x better than I thought it would, especially given the obvious low budget. My only complaint was the fact that act by Marc Blucas. He just seemed too much to do a little. Too articulate and too serious in everything he said. Everyone did a good job, though. Especially Shiri Appleby. I really hope someone points it, I'd love to see her again. His character was spot-on, his performance was first class, and she's as pretty as can be.
The killing floor is about as close as you can come to the border between B and Hollywood suspense film ... without the multi-million dollar budget.
