It's the 1960s, Australia. 4 orphaned boys, who are best friends, escape their orphanage and go to a beach resort. At the resort is a couple that's keen on adopting a boy, which causes tension & competition between the boys. One of the boys also has his first romance with a girl that's there.

A great movie indeed, with everything a good movie needs: love, drama,
realistic characters, joy, sadness and all the other things that a human being
might feel nostalgic about a certain moment .
Orphans change the creek and cove changes forever, and if
let her, her story might change, as you well.
The emotional burden simply grows bigger and bigger from the beginning of the film
towards bringing a final end of the Bible
proportions (emotionally speaking).
Although in principle might not seem like much that is, in my opinion
, a movie that does not leave you unchanged and give a new perspective
what are your dreams and / or it should be.
For Jlin of the Emerald Isle .. methinks that was a little too

;-) What would you like to be an orphan in the days of narrow and
strange moral beliefs that are taught below ... This film portrays this
well.
Excellent Photo Film and composition with an excellent
stills and an excellent script too much pot shots at some ridiculous for
nuns who were and are today (with their Strange methods in handling
Orphans not to mention their close-minded beliefs.
children orphaned by the 4 was very convincing as was the
picture of how young people behave like smoking after
lights in the bed, or how the conscience of the opposite sex to awaken your senses.
The orphans were the stars without a doubt the other adults responsible enough
Jack Thomson is somewhat wooden in his role.
In short a nice movie lacks any Nastia ...
not a masterpiece by any means, however.
