Download Movie TransformersA long time ago, far away on the planet of Cybertron, a war was being waged between the noble Autobots (led by the wise Optimus Prime) and the devious Decepticons (commanded by the dreaded Megatron) for control over the Allspark, a mystical talisman that would grant unlimited power to whoever possessed it. The Autobots managed to smuggle the Allspark off the planet, but Megatron blasted off in search of it. He eventually tracked it to the planet of Earth (circa 1850), but his reckless desire for power sent him right into the Arctic Ocean, and the sheer cold forced him into a paralyzed state. His body was later found by Captain Archibald Witwicky, and before going into a comatose state Megatron used the last of his energy to engrave a map, showing the location of the Allspark, into the Captain's glasses, and send a transmission to Cybertron. He is then carted away by the Captain's ship. A century later, Sam Witwicky, nicknamed Spike by his friends, buys his first car. To his shock, he discovers it to be Bumblebee, an Autobot in disguise who is to protect Spike, as he bears the Captain's glasses and the map carved on them. But Bumblebee is not the only Transformer to have arrived on Earth - in the desert of Qatar, the Decepticons Blackout and Scorponok attack a U.S. military base, causing the Pentagon to send their special Sector Seven agents to capture all "specimens of this alien race," and Spike and his girlfriend Mikaela find themselves in the middle of a grand battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons, stretching from Hoover Dam all the way to Los Angeles. Meanwhile, within the depths of Hoover Dam, the cryogenically stored form of Megatron awakens...

And it does drive like Michael Bay translates the world of Transformers
animation and toys for the big screen.

But before getting ahead of myself I must admit that I have never seen even a single episode
growing. I just hit the high school and I was not interested
. Hence, there was no baggage involved either side of the coin
.

however, I sat in the first public information anywhere on the planet
(June 12 in Sydney, Australia, with the introduction of Michael Bay) and
simply overwhelmed me and all other! There was never a dull moment
, the script flowed easily, the acting first-rate and seamless
of CGI and live action was taken to another level.

going to be the hit of the summer and is better than any of the large share
third trilogies I just see too. And I love
each of these franchises.

Congratulations to a film that not only met but exceeded expectations
them.
(This comment has been removed from IMDb on the basis of a report abuse
someone else, so I'm guessing is quite unfair, perhaps spoiled
some aspect of "plot" if you can call to consider that for some poor soul)

I think it was about four or five words at the opening narration when
who broke into laughter. "Before time began ..." Ouch. When a movie can not go
5 seconds without a cliché, does not deserve to be viewed, at least not with
one side.

Michael Bay's Transformers is hilariously awful, a sub-Ed Wood
matter all the way through a camp classic in the making. If Bay is the new
Edward D. Wood, Jr. Transformers can then be the new Plan 9 from Outer Space
. Let me count the ways:

1. Incoherente narration / incoherent plot? Check.

2. Laughably bad dialogue? Check.

3. Pompous foreigners with unexplained plan to conquer Earth? Check.

4. Day by night becomes an instant? Check.

5. Copioso use of military stock footage? Check.

6. Epic number of errors of continuity? Check.

7. Dramatic confrontations resolved through fistfights? Check.

8. Dramatic scenes that fly straight from left field? Check. ( "I'm so happy
gave me in the car with you.")

9. Formerly respectable biggest star is sinking to a new low? Check. (Poor, poor
Jon Voight)

10. Incredible overacting that is evidently encouraged by the director?
Check.

11.Character who can not speak for no apparent reason? Check.

12. Rampant stereotypes (not just racial, but things like more police
acting dumb, doing a lot of shouting and eating bagels, and
military officers are all the secrets a minute and said
spilling secrets the next)? Check.

13. Characters with a lot of time facing not stop playing
important role in the story? "Check. (What utility has Duhamel and
troops in Qatar after serving the first ten minutes?)

14. Heavy handed social / political commentary / references? Check. (eBay,
eBay, eBay; imagine how problems could have been avoided if he had just bought the damned
glasses EBAY OFF!)

15. A flying saucer to catch fire then crashes? Check.

16. Sudden flashes of light appear from nowhere and knock
characters? Check.

17. The action in some shots is hopelessly confused? Check.

18. A character in the hilarious scene of death is matched only by his praise
hilarious? Check.

19. The action stops suddenly so that someone can explain the
back-story? Check.

20. Random bursts of laughter fill the theatre during the screening? Check.

21. Deficiencies in the dialogue perfect for Mystery Science Theater 3000-esque
comment? Check.

22. Inevitable worship? Check.

Only these three things have disappeared, keeping true greatness
Ed Wood:

1. Not giant octopus. (Although Scorponok comes close.)

2. Not transvestites. (Have the prefix "trans-" in the title, though.)

3. Not ridiculously campy speech by the main villain. (Just "I AM
Megatron !!!", which is much campy but not much of a speech.)

Perhaps these'll be in the Director's Cut.

Except, of course, Ed Wood film has heart, even in its worst
that feel more like exercises in film product placement.
Bay has nothing even remotely resembling a heart in his chest -
is why he is not wood, even in the league as an evil leader, no matter how many laughs
his get terrible movies. And, at least, movies Wood
not cost $ 150 million to make.

am a fan of Transformers way back. I have an Optimus Prime and Megatron
over one of my books. He old videotapes of
fondly remembered series of cartoons and a copy of the 20 th anniversary
DVD movie. I was worried that this movie is going to hurt my childhood memories
beyond repair, like Star Wars Episode I did. But the film is
too stupid and too bad to have a real impact on me. The old
animated film, is as bad, mops the floor with this.
If anything, is more mature (!) And entertaining. The music
former cinema is terrible, but it fits. The music here is just terrible
.

There are good points, but none close enough to anywhere. John Turturro
is the only actor who escapes unscathed this mess - his great over-the-top performance
suggests that he really understands how the Z-grade
the script it was. He is very fun to watch, even as he is
quickly reduced to a non-entity of the plot mechanics.
Turturro is a great actor and this part only serves to elevate their status in my eyes.
I hope you got a paycheck serious.

I could not CGI as a general rule, but the special effects are here
moderately convincing, at least in those rare moments when the camera is not working
idiot cartwheels to darken. Frankly, as
models for the new TFS (the Autobots, anyway - I can barely tell apart
the Decepticons), but the fact that they have little personality
is not so beloved.

Perhaps the sequel will be up to the high levels of Ed Wood's
Night of the Ghouls. But I doubt it.
