Bedrooms still play an important role in Todd Field, but this universe
time there is an exit, intellectual and emotional, that exceeds
the patina of seeming familiarity. "Little Children" with a sizzle

Kate Winslet in a superlative performance, invites us to believe that a
human being can live without contradiction that seems absurd. Patrick
Wilson's courage without a brain or vice versa is an uncomfortable

internal moments I've seen in a long time: a moment of realization in a
table. The contradictions, perhaps, are at the center of this universe

Brad Adamson (Patrick Wilson) and Sarah Pierce (Kate Winslet

Dialogue is always interesting and enjoyable for the viewer, I have always felt the need to
hear every word.
The proceedings are mostly notable. Patrick Wilson's
"Brad" is a highly imperfect. His immaturity is evident in every scene
and Wilson does an impressive job of portraying that. Brad
is stuck in a world, a world somewhere between high school graduation and
yesterday dinner pasta. His quest for identity is never exposed
until the meeting of Sarah and their immaturity is never more
manifests itself until the end. The character is underdeveloped Kathy
sometimes annoying, but with the tide of history which fits the aura of
image. Jennifer Connelly does well with his minimal screen time
but is not the wonder of the film that stands out like other
under the screen time performances have been in the past. Moreover, large
Noah Emmerich and Phyllis Somerville are great in their respective roles

Both highlight lies in the unknown return of Jackie Earle Haley, who played Ronald
McGovern, recently published a paedophile

deep origin. In Haley, the viewer finds sympathy of the majority
all players and this viewer is pleased to find. In no way are
people to accept pedophilia, but we can begin to sympathize with
anyone who yearns for the resumption of any kind and becomes bewildered and
way through the process. Haley's "Ronnie" is so tortured by his soul
but find security and tranquility to their loving mother. She offers comfort and guidance to
Ronnie's reconstruction of life that adds to the atmosphere
and provides a beautiful emotional center to "children". The other standout
there may be others who
the most talented young actress working today, Kate Winslet. His "Sarah" as "Ronnie" has a tortured person
along with a yearning for happiness
missing in his life. The symbolism of trains in the film released
impressive what they really are Sarah and Brad. Winslet is part of "Sarah"
and never reaches the surface. At 31, Winslet is still thinking of
different ways to charm the public and give us something new each time
. The liveliness of "Sarah" is sometimes hard to swallow because of
their priorities with his son and Brad but in the end you will feel
comfort in the election of his character. But this is not by any means,
the best performance of his career, but a clear contender, however,
in the competitive race actress.
The best part of the film is the most complete wrapping of the same in general.
Despite the many questions that remained unanswered, I have never felt so
satisfied with the resolution of a dramatic picture as "
Little Children". There is, however, Coy hollowness at the heart of the film
but the rest compensates apparently inevitable defects that occurred.
Oscar consideration should focus on the photo, Director, Actress, Supporting Actor and
Adapted Screenplay and hopefully can be
their future. This is a very artistic film, not for everyone, but if
Academy feels like the appointment of a "House of Sand and Fog" meets
"In the Bedroom" with a subtle side "Closer" then we will have our independent
dramatic film of the year in the Oscar race.
