Let me be the first to admit that there is nothing wrong with a long
movie, nothing at all. "Titanic" was a long movie that was exactly as
while needs to be. "Gone With The Wind" was really a long
film that was exactly the time they need be. "Dance with Wolves"
was a long movie that I wish had been even more when I saw that the
theater. However, "King Kong"? Phhewww ... this sucker clocks in at least
30-60 minutes longer than necessary. While playing, I stayed
inadvertently I think, "Boy, that really should be at sea
... by now have not come to the island? man ... Are TIME
Ann's going to find? ... Jeez, when are we going to return to Manhattan
already ?..." and so on. Hand to God - I yawn
twice during the last third of this movie. I have even closed their eyes for one second before I
reality, 'hey ... you can not go back only when you wake up! "

Of course, many scenes from" King Kong "exciting (for example, loved the T-Rex
sequence) and, yes, even a little tear a few times. And I must say
, Kong himself is beautifully done - which
and acted like a real gorilla (albeit a bit anthropomorphized)! But I gotta tell you ...
I was more relieved than exhilarated when he finished this film.
(If you've seen more of an overpass hometown, was going to scream!)
Peter baby ... ... Why spend so much time developing all these strange characters
side if they really do not have much with them closing
finish. For example, the captain of the ship and Jimmy ... once they leave Skull Island
pfffftttt ... ... never again. Why all the history of substance
scenes on them? As with the original version, Jackson should have
simply concentrated on the four main characters of all: Kong, Ann,
Denham and Driscoll. Period.

The problem is Jackson tried to make an epic of a thriller, when
these two approaches are usually exclusive to each other.
The original "Kong" move because it is simply a thriller and content of
If so, but Jackson's remake starts and stops and starts and stops, and
Starts and stops, simply frustrating thrillseeker in which we want to go ahead
whenever Jackson establishing some momentum. But instead
Jackson pauses to "deepen" or "explore" or "develop" the David Lean
or something like that. One can excuse for shooting Jackson both
material for the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy - consider
rich source material. But how someone could have taken the 100-minute original
almost doubled during a remake has too much memory on your Mac. The
should have saved all the extra scenes (and I bet there is not much more
saw in the theater of court) for the DVD as it did for LOTR
. Mr Jackson's first priority as a filmmaker (well, all
filmmakers) is to present the most appropriate for theatrical cut
initial public during the film exhibition in cinemas.
In this case, more is less. Movies much shorter in the past have had
intermediate!

Honestly, though doubtless enjoy "King Kong",
I really have no desire to see this movie again - I just can not bring myself to sit
throughout the padding just to get good parts. How I wish
Jackson and / or Universal would consider releasing a 2-hour DVD version.
Hey, it happened before, so what's the harm? Within a year
there will be 17 versions on DVD anyway ... what is more? But having
sit through a 3-4 hours DVD version someday? I'll take a pass.

Do I recommend seeing "King Kong"? Of course. You enjoy
largely, although the overlength. But if it does go by all means lay
Jumbo face of Coca Cola, at least, until 90 minutes! You will thank me later.
With the technology available for special effects, this could have been a great
movie. Unfortunately, it was not. Unfortunately, this movie only proves the point that
sound effects do not make a good movie.

What happened here is that a film with enough to last plot, by the time of the original
is stretched to try to fill 3 hours of screen time, and the result is
disastrous. In addition, it is quite clear that the CGI
nerds and video game designers had way too
entry in this atrocity.

can be summed up with a list of top 10
of the worst scenes and mistakes of the film: 10

. The waste of time too long, irrelevant line that surrounds the plot
Ann Darrow, the old man, drama and get closed.
Not relevant to the story.

9. The CGI nerd focus on spinning wheels in the air
fighter planes. Someone said: "Is not this the best thing you've seen?".
only lasted a few seconds, but was there only because some
gigantic nerd wanted in. Guess what? It is not cool.

8. The plot around the line and Mr Jimmy Hayes. Unnecessarily,
irrelevant, and ultimately unresolved. Why was protecting
Jimmy Hayes? Is Jimmy going to make something of himself? We never know. Why
Someone must know who has read "Heart of Darkness" or any of the other
absurd that was discussed between them? Total waste of time, stalls
history.

7. Ann Kong shaking violently around after it reaches its home turf, and their suffering
no ill effects. She prefers to be not only injured, but dead.
Kong would be gentle with Ann, duh. Completely missed the point.

6. The waste of time, too long, irritating scenes where Kong
rages on several occasions for no reason. CGI nerds / effects are the people
fund, I am sure. They obviously took over the entire film. Probable
debate: "Is not the roar the best thing that ever
seen / heard? We will use 47 times! "

5. The scene completely ridiculous when Kong destroys the stolen taxi
but Driscoll (inside) is not even scratched. Guess what? That's right,
had been killed. Come on, you can at least try to make this thing
credible.

4. The completely horrific scene where Kong combating 3 T-Rex while holding
Anne in her hand. For God's sake, she'd be killed instantly. In
least the original was that he made the fight
Tyrannosaurus, a key element ignored in the remake, here and elsewhere
in the film. They also miss the point on the aircraft brake when
Kong is holding Ann, see above. Point lost.

And the top 3…

3. The incredibly absurd and insulting scene where Jimmy shoots
all CGI nerd created insects outside Driscoll. Close your eyes while
firing, all the successes and mistakes. It was not just reminiscent of Jar-Jar Binks
in the great battle with the gun stuck to its tail, is
Jar-Jar Binks in the great battle with the gun stuck to its tail.
Totally unacceptable.

2. The most absurd and even more insulting and asinine
Brontosaurus stampede scene. This leads almost a cake for the worst
scene in film history, if not for the next one. Beyond ridiculous,
absolutely incredible, video-game quality. Graphs and affected
unrealistic. CGI nerds were probably slapping high fives
see how many asinine near miss, "Raptor almost gets the character before being stomped
of the brontosaurus," Tom and Jerry scenes that could create.
Asinine beyond belief.

1. The horrible, horrible ridiculous scene where Kong and Ann and all
are falling through the vines, get caught repeatedly by new vineyards
swinging, do not get injured, fall again, caught on the other
swinging vine, do not get injured, etc. Vines-like pendulum swinging
with the monster gobbling nearly Ann, only to be just beyond their reach,
repeatedly. This does not belong to "King Kong", which belonged to "Donkey Kong Jr.
."

If you removed all this nonsense irrelevant, which could remain
have not been so bad. It would probably be very good, actually.
Unfortunately, it was made in. It's hard to imagine how a DVD insufferable
"Director's Cut" could be.

On the positive side, Naomi Watts was excellent, like Jack Black. The
acting in general is a positive development, there is no real complaints. And the animation
Kong itself was excellent. Very well done.

Unfortunately, however, very little of the film involved act.
Is all about what a great game and making all intents and purposes. The
effects are not themselves the film they are there to support the
movie!

To summarize, there are a lot of good pieces, but there were also many
de los malos. Ultimately also have been used many, and many of them did not belong
.
